Plain Roller
The bridge main with Launching Nose is erected mainly on these Rollers prior to its launching. The Rollers are made of steel
Rocking Roller
The Rocking Rollers, also made of steel, are placed over Balance Beam Assembly at the near bank. Rocking Rollers are also placed at the far bank, on Bearings, to receive the Bridge/ Launching Nose.
Launching Link
This is inserted in the Launching Nose at appropriate positions to give a positive lift to the Nose. The positive lift takes care of the sag due to the self weight of the overhang during Launching. It is made of steel.

Ratchet Lowering Jack
It is a 15 MT capacity Ratchet type Mechanical Jack with additional Toe‐lifting arrangement. It is used for raising or lowering the bridge ends. It lifts 15 MT on Head and 7.5 MT on Toe. The Toe height is such that it can be positioned under the tip of the Male / Female End Posts
Hydraulic Jack
It is a 30 MT capacity hydraulically‐operated Jack with hand‐pump for operation. The hand‐ pump may be integral with Jack base or remote‐controlled through flexible pipe. It is used for raising or lowering the bridge ends
Chord Jack
An erected bridge has sag (concave at top). To convert a single storey bridge to a multi‐storied bridge, additional Panels are to be placed on top of the first storey Panels. To do this, the sag on top is to be taken care of. The Chord Jack does that. It is made of steel.
Box Spanner
This is for ¾” BSW Bolt Head / Nut. It is used on Bracing Bolt / Riband Bolt. It is made of steel
